OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God     (AV 1611 King James Version).  II Peter 1:20 & 21

  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ.  John 1:1 & 2                            

  • We believe in the virgin birth of Christ.  Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23      

  • We believe in the sinless life of Christ. Hebrews 7:26,  II Cor. 5:21       

  • We believe the Holy Spirit of God dwells in every believer.  Romans 8:9, ICorinthians 6:19  

  • We believe in the substitutionary, atoning work of Jesus Christ on the cross.  Romans 5:8, Colossians 1:12-14, Matthew 27                           We believe that all are sinners.  Romans 3:10 & 23                              

  • We believe that Jesus Christ died for the whole world.  John 3:16, II Peter 3:9                        

  • We believe that salvation is a free gift of God through our Lord Jesus Christ to all that will receive him.  John 1:12,  Romans 6:23      

  • We believe in the eternal security of every believer.  John 10:28 & 29, Romans 8:37-39 

  • We believe in the physical resurrection and the personal bodily return of Jesus Christ to earth. Matthew 28,  Acts 1:11

  • We believe in water baptism by immersion as an ordinance of the church.  Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:41

  • We believe in the Lord's Supper (Communion) as an ordinance of the church.  I Corinthians 11:23-30
